Kashio

An electronics company founded and based in Kasei. Kashio Electronics manufactures a range of products but has always specialized in Pokedexes and other training accessories.

Their pokedexes became very popular a few decades ago and many of these are now considered collector's items. Kashio digital pokedexes were renowned for their innovative multi-functionality in all form factors from suitcase to wristwatch.

Kashio Pokeballs were notably less successful due to lack of public interest in their attempts to come up with innovative new designs that broke away from the traditional ball and lens configuration. Several models suffered from poor quality control. These do not fetch high prices despite their rarity but do have a minor cult following.

Kashio still produces a number of Z-Shock pokedexes, built specifically for Fusions and able to withstand the rigours of elemental battle.
